Guide to Recovering Mistakenly Transferred Tokens (Part 2) (Applicable to Recovering EVM-Compatible Chain Assets Mistakenly Transferred to an ETH Address)

Note: Before transferring large amounts of assets to your wallet, please make sure to conduct a small test transfer first. Only proceed with larger transfers once you have successfully completed both the deposit and withdrawal of a small amount.

Today’s guide will explain how to recover assets that were mistakenly transferred to an ETH address. We will use the example of USDC on the Polygon network that was mistakenly transferred to an ETH address.

1. First, confirm that the assets you mistakenly transferred were indeed sent to an ETH address.
2. The contract address for USDC on the Polygon network is 0x3c499c542cef5e3811e1192ce70d8cc03d5c3359.

4. If you want to transfer out the USDC assets, make sure to have a small amount of Matic in the receiving address to cover the gas fees.
